"A NEW BEGINNING FOR MOTHERS IN NEED:
THE LAUNCH OF HIS DAUGHTERS' SAFE PLACE"

His Daughters’ Safe Place is an organization dedicated to mending the heart of misguided pregnant ladies between the ages of 18-35. Our 24 month transitional home provides access to life fundamentals such as teaching financial stability, parenting classes, budgeting courses, mother support groups plus more. Our programs are tailored to have women exit with stability, security, and success.
Vision Statement:
His Daughter’s Safe Place is the first transitional home in Delaware that caters to mothers within a two-year program. Our dedicated team of professionals and mentors aim to break the stereotype that young pregnant women are destined to remain dependent on government assistance.
OUR GOALS
1
Safe Haven Development
Establish a Christ-Centered Transitional Home
Our primary goal is to create a secure, nurturing home where pregnant women and young mothers can find safety, stability, and support. This home will offer housing, life skills training, and faith-based community for up to six families.
2
National Mentorship Expansion
Build a Nationwide Support Network
Within two years, we will develop and launch a virtual mentorship program that connects women with caring, faith-based mentors across the country, providing ongoing life guidance, encouragement, and practical support.
3
Empowerment Through Education
Equip Women for Long-Term Success
We aim to provide residents with access to scholarships, career coaching, financial literacy programs, and essential parenting skills empowering them to achieve independence and break cycles of generational poverty.
4
Community and Partnership Growth
Strengthen Collaborative Outreach
We will actively build partnerships with local hospitals, community colleges, mental health providers, and faith organizations to expand resources, increase awareness, and strengthen support systems for the women we serve.

The 2025/2026 Goal for His Daughters Safe Place is approximately $1 Million, allowing us to house 6 pregnant soon to be mothers!

SHAY
Founder of His Daughters’ Safe Place
In 2013, at just 21 years old and pregnant with her first daughter, Shay faced one of the most difficult seasons of her life. With nowhere to go, she was forced into homelessness and had to seek shelter an hour away from her family. Mary’s Shelter helped her celebrate milestones, embrace her pregnancy, and assisted her with all the knowlege and fundamentals of becoming a first time mom plus more.
Now, 12 years later, Shay stands not as a victim of her past, but has turned her pain into purpose. She’s working to open His Daughters’ Safe Place a maternity shelter created to offer the support she never had.
Every missing piece from her own experience has become a building block for this new haven. Where she once lacked, she now plans to provide in abundance.
Her journey from hardship to healing is not just inspiring it’s transformational. What once broke her has become her reason to build. She’s ready to help other young women write new beginnings for themselves and their children and now she’s on a mission to be the safe place for others that she once needed herself.
Today she walk in faith as a believer, a wife, a mother, and a business owner, carrying the mission to be the safe place for others that I once needed myself. To God be all the glory.

Luke 1:45 (NKJV): "Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Encouraging words from Shay!
I want other women to know: You are not alone. Just because the world calls your story a failure does not mean God sees it that way. There is life after rejection. There is life after shame. People may try to define your worth, but only God has the final say.
